I am interested in the use of digital technologies to generate social interaction, ubiquitous computing, mobile and sensor technologies, digital art installations, video, audio, multimedia, photography, digital image manipulation, film, drawing, painting, animation, product design and architecture.
I worked as a voluntary coach for the Irish Surfing Association (ISA) between 2005 and 2009 and have coached the Irish National Surfing team during international events in France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Costa Rica. I qualified as a tutor under the Adventure Sports Framework of Coaching Ireland and have taught both ISA Surf Coach courses and Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Beach Lifeguard courses.
During my studies in the Letterkenny Institute of Technology I helped to organise the Open Day in the Design Department, assisting the tutors in showcasing work and facilities to prospective students and was also an active member of the LYIT Basketball and Disc Clubs.
During my studies at Trinity College I helped in the organisation of the Open Day and taught climbing to adults in the Trinity Gym.
