Patterns and Documentation

The drawing used in neon fabrication is often referred to as a pattern. This pattern is typically created in reverse so that the neon maker can accurately bend the glass tubing to the drawing. It includes important details such as the diameter of the tube, the color of the neon, the type of gas used, and any specific instructions related to the glasswork. The layout template, which shows a face view of the neon sign, helps ensure the correct positioning of the support fixings for the tubes. Wiring information is also commonly included on the drawing.
